Betty White Sweeps 2012 MarCom Awards with Lifeline Program

ATLANTA - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Betty White's promotional work on behalf of The Lifeline Program swept the 2012 MarCom Awards, claiming five trophies including marketing video and campaign awards for its viral YouTube music video, "I'm Still Hot." More than 1.8 million viewers watched the video featuring the comedic icon rapping about life settlements alongside dance music artist Luciana. Proceeds from the soundtrack's iTunes sales benefitted the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association.

Administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, MarCom Awards recognize excellence and creativity by marketing and communications professionals internationally. The life settlement provider received three platinum awards for "I'm Still Hot," the video's viral campaign and the company's social media website, Betty's Corner. Lifeline also received two gold awards for an e-card campaign featuring a National Lampoon artist and a radio spot recorded by White and Stephen Terrell, senior vice president of market development and branding.
