In August, to keep pace with the dynamic growth in our industry and to accommodate the increased demand for settlement of JUMBO (large face value) life insurance policies, we made the strategic decision to expand our policy purchase parameters.
The Lifeline Program® is now reviewing life settlement case submissions on life insurance policies up to $15 million in face value per insured. This is a significant increase over our previous $5 million threshold and an important step in our commitment to meeting the needs of our clients like no one else in the industry. For more information about this exciting change, please contact your Account Manager at 800.252.5282.

The Lifeline Program® will soon announce details on our first-ever Lifeline Life Settlement Forum event. This one-of-a-kind meeting will bring together some of the best and the brightest in our industry for a unique day of learning, brainstorming and networking.
Scheduled to be held in October at our corporate headquarters in Atlanta, this event provides a way to not only recognize the tremendous accomplishments of our top producers, but also to give them a forum to share their ideas and voice their needs. The event will kickoff with an evening reception at The Lifeline Program®’s offices, to be followed the next day by day-long forum sessions. That evening, The Lifeline Program® will host an exclusive cocktail reception and dinner in one of Atlanta’s most well-known landmarks. Prior to the meeting, we will survey all invited guests about their business needs and interests, and based on the results of these evaluations, will tailor the discussion to address common themes and concerns. A well-known motivational speaker and business consultant will serve as moderator for the event and will foster highly insightful and dynamic conversation about the many benefits of Life Settlements. Stay tuned for more information about this incredible event, and be on the look out for a list of the invited participants.

Having recently returned from the Senior Market Advisor Expo in Las Vegas, we want to thank everyone who helped make the conference an incredible success for The Lifeline Program®. In addition to hosting one of our most popular booths ever – complete with acrobats, contortionists and show girls – we also made hundreds of great contacts and were able to reconnect with old colleagues and get to know many new ones.
For those of you who were unable to catch up with us in Las Vegas, have no fear; we’re still on the road! From September 8-10 2007, we were in Washington, DC for the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) convention and career conference. While our booth acrobats couldn’t make this show, our knowledgeable staff was on hand to educate and promote the many unique benefits of Life Settlements and working with The Lifeline Program®. Following NAIFA, key members of The Lifeline Program® will travel to The Life Settlements Conference at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida on September 16-18, 2007. While the meeting does not provide exhibit opportunities, we will be there to attend the sessions, meet with associates and get the scope on important industry trends. We hope to see you at this exciting event.

Contrary to some of my co-workers here at Lifeline, I was quite familiar with the company and Life Settlements before I became an employee here. I had previously worked for a viatical company, and when an opportunity presented itself here at Lifeline, I remembered them as a key industry player with a great reputation. It really struck me as a place I could learn a lot and make a difference. For the past three and a half years I have been a Senior Funding Associate with the company. In this capacity I act as quality control prior to funding by verifying accurate policy information and that the required components for funding are all present and accounted for. Additionally, I answer and respond to investor calls, and coordinate other funding department activities. I feel very lucky to work in such a challenging and dynamic environment with people I really like. No one day is ever the same and it’s great to have that kind of variety.
