Our first annual Lifeline Life Settlement Forum was an incredible event that benefited both our company and our best policy sources in many ways. The event held in Atlanta, Georgia on October 12-13, brought together many of the top producers in the industry and gave these leaders a forum to provide their input, opinions and perspectives on our company, our processes and what we can do to better meet the needs of professionals in the industry. We are currently evaluating the massive amount of feedback we obtained and in the coming months will use this valuable information to streamline and enhance our processes, procedures and services.

Even more importantly, the Forum was undoubtedly enjoyable and beneficial to all who attended. Here are just a few of the kind words attendees had to say about the event -

"Thank you for what was the best corporate visit/consulting trip I've experienced in the past 30 years. The presentations, atmosphere and dining experience were all wonderful... I am absolutely certain that your Forum will increase our company's business."

"Thank you so much for inviting me to the Lifeline Life Settlement Forum this past weekend. I had a wonderful time and learned so much... I cannot say enough good things about your organization and everyone that I met at The Lifeline. I look forward to many successful years working with The Lifeline Program."

After a very busy and successful year, we will make our final big conference appearance of 2007 at NAILBA 26 in Orlando, Florida from November 15-17. If you are planning to attend, be on the lookout for our top executives and please feel free to stop by and say "hi."

Following NAILBA, we will likely send a team to the Selling to Seniors conference in Nashville, and then begin to gear up for 2008. Of course, we will once again attend all of the most important industry events. However, our goal is to branch out and establish a presence at conferences we have not historically attended and explore the multitude of opportunities that exist for Life Settlements. 2007 has been a great year on the road, and we are doing everything we can to ensure that 2008 is even better!

Insured: Female, age 83
Policy Gross Face Amount: $12,000,000
Policy Cash Value: $2,400,000
Policy Purchase Price: $4,300,000
Policy Type: Universal Life
Regardless of their age, life situation or financial security for almost all clients an underperforming investment is a source of tremendous displeasure and stress. The 83-year-old wealthy widow described above was no exception. Each time her financial advisor updated her about the stagnant growth of her universal life insurance policy, she voiced her worry, uncertainty and concern. Hoping to alleviate his client's fears, the advisor suggested a life settlement and with her permission investigated the option. When the woman discovered that she could receive $1.9 million more than the cash surrender value of her policy from The Lifeline Program®, she jumped at the opportunity. She ultimately re-invested a portion of the settlement proceeds into a more suitable policy intended to cover future estate costs while enjoying her newfound windfall and peace of mind.

The Lifeline Program is excited to announce that we have currently received state approval for our CE course in 29 states. While we are still waiting on approvals from the remaining states, we're thrilled to be able to offer Life Settlement training to Life Insurance and Financial Planning professionals throughout most of the country. Our recent Lifeline Life Settlement Forum was an eye-opening experience for a multitude of reasons, however one of the most significant things we learned during the event is that there is an almost universal need for a higher level of policy source support. While we have always strived to provide exceptional client service, we now see the importance of further enhancing this crucial aspect of our business. As such we will be reorganizing and bolstering our account management department to ensure that each and every policy source receives the personalized attention and support they need. In the coming weeks we intend to assign a dedicated account service team with each policy source we work with. The team will serve as a single point of contact to help improve communication, expedite business processing and create a more personalized working relationship. We believe this is a vital step in making the Life Settlement process easier and more efficient and we couldn't be more optimistic about this exciting initiative.

POSITION  Marketing Assistant

I recently joined The Lifeline Program® as an assistant for the marketing team. I provide overall support on a multitude of department projects, in addition to overseeing our new Continuing Education program, planning our conference calendar and making sure all the necessary materials and arrangements are in place for the conferences where we exhibit. I also assist in the development of this very newsletter!

As a recent graduate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, this is my first full-time job. While I have limited experience to compare it to, I can't imagine a more exciting environment or more amazing people to help me learn and grow professionally.
