The Lifeline Program® is very excited to announce the recent launch of our latest, and perhaps most innovative, effort yet. The new Lifeline e-brochure is among the first of its kind in the industry and is an excellent resource that we believe will help our policy sources access information about our company in an easy, convenient and interactive way.
Unlike print items, our new e-brochure is unique because it is entirely virtual. Found on our website at www.thelifeline.com, users are able to turn the pages of the brochure interactively with simply the click of a mouse, as if reading a book or a magazine. One of the best features of the e-brochure, above and beyond its simplicity of use, is that the e-brochure is available for viewing all day, every day. This means that there is no longer the wait and cost associated with mailings. Instead, you can access information about us instantaneously and we can conserve natural resources in the process.
In addition to being located on our website, the e-brochure is also included on our new flash drives. Designed specifically for our policy sources, these flash drives consolidate necessary materials into one easy device. Also included on the flash drive is our video featuring Betty White and many key forms and documents necessary to do business with The Lifeline Program®. We first distributed these flash drives to policy sources during the AALU 2007 Annual Meeting, and plan to have them available at future industry events, as well. THE LIFELINE PROGRAM® IS ON ITS WAY TO LISA
The 13th Annual Life Insurance Settlement Association (LISA) Spring Conference is just around the corner, and promises to be another "meeting of the minds" of some of the best in our industry. This year's meeting takes place in New York City from May 16th thru the 18th, and while it is a smaller conference than some of the others we attend, it is also the only one exclusively dedicated to Life Settlements, and therefore one of our most important.
Just as during LISA's Fall 2006 Conference, Wm. Scott Page, our President & CEO, will be a featured speaker. As one of the true visionaries in the industry and one of its founders, Scott's presentation is certain to be interesting, provocative and eminently informative. Additionally, Lifeline will be an exhibitor at the conference. If you attend, be sure to stop by our booth - we'd love to talk to you about Life Settlements and The Lifeline Program®. While there, we will be distributing our new e-brochure flash drives, and giving away two tickets to the May 17th showing of the critically-acclaimed Broadway show "Wicked". You can even meet two of the characters from the show at our booth, so we hope to see you there!
"LIFELINE IDOL": ALMOST
AS GOOD AS THE REAL THING!
As a company focused on creating a positive and enjoyable work environment, we recently found inspiration from one of America's most popular TV shows as an opportunity for some fun, camaraderie and laughs. On Thursday, April 19th, we held a "Lifeline Idol" karaoke contest. Open to all of our employees, individuals were invited to sing their favorite song in front of the entire company. In true American Idol fashion, everyone in attendance was asked to vote for the winners. While there was no official panel of judges, Stephen E. Terrell, our Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Public Relations, did occasionally play the part of Randy Jackson to the delight of all.
Lifeline's Marketing Assistant, Tavon Shealey-Barnswell, won the contest with her amazing rendition of Tamia's "You Put a Move on My Heart". As our "Lifeline Idol" winner, Tavon was flown to Los Angeles, where she attended the April 25th taping of American Idol's "Idol Gives Back" concert event, compliments of the company.

When I joined the company more than ten years ago as a receptionist, the Life Settlement industry was still in its infancy. However, as the industry and The Lifeline Program® have grown, my career with the company has blossomed along with it. Today, I oversee our Contracts Department, working and communicating with insurance carriers on a regular basis to ensure that Life Settlements which we enter into are processed appropriately. I regularly utilize the skills and experiences I have developed over the past decade working throughout the company to interface with various departments, including our Funding and Processing departments. The Lifeline Program® has truly given me the opportunity to learn, grow and prosper in my career. That is what makes The Lifeline Program® so unique: we care. The company cares about its employees, about its clients and about doing the right thing. That is why I am so happy to be a part of the Lifeline family.
