Even though the New Year has officially begun, it's still not too late to make some resolutions to help you improve your life and business in 2008. Here are a few suggestions:

  3. WORK THE CIRCUIT
    There is simply no better way to improve your business than to get out there and make new contacts, meet new clients and discover new profit-generating strategies. Our industry calendar is filled with conferences and meetings where you can listen, learn and network. We'll be attending many of these events and would love to see you at them as well. So make plans to attend several conferences this year and watch your business grow.



BACK AND BIGGER THAN EVER
After a restful holiday season, we are excitedly gearing up for one of our most ambitious conference schedules ever. In 2008 we will be on the road attending and exhibiting at the usual events, including AALU, NAILBA, NAIFA and Senior Market Advisor Expo.

We plan to attend some new venues as well, including The International Forum Annual Meeting and the 42nd Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning. We can't wait to get out and meet new people, see old friends and spread the word about Life Settlements and The Lifeline Program®.

Purchase Price of Policy: $930,000 (31.5% of face)

The client met with his agent who suggested he convert the term policy and go for a Life Settlement. Rather than letting the policy lapse and getting nothing, he received a $930,000 cash settlement and was able to use those funds for other investment vehicles.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

NAME    Olga Vitkin
POSITION    Medical Review Underwriter

I have been with The Lifeline Program® for more than four years as an underwriter of medical reviews. While this is my first full time position out of school, I have long had an interest in the medical field. Prior to working at Lifeline, I worked for a physician's referral service in Cleveland, Ohio.

On a daily basis I work closely with our processing, underwriting and pricing departments. Once we have received medical records on a policy, I review them and submit to our external medical review vendors. As their evaluations come back to our office, I either decline them based on life expectancy or submit them to our pricing department to take them to the final steps of generating the offer.



NAME    Nicholas Zimmerman
POSITION    Network Manager

Since joining The Lifeline Program two years ago as a Network Manager, I have had the opportunity to really watch the company grow and take their technology initiatives to the next level. My 6 years of IT experience and prior position as a field technician for Dell computer systems, has been a tremendous asset in helping manage the companies network and IT solutions.

Working closely with every department within the company, I maintain all networks and servers, including computers, security systems, telephone systems and other hardware. Additionally, I research and implement new technologies to benefit the company in the long run.

What I enjoy most about working at The Lifeline Program® is the fact that the company has a lot of interest in being on the technological cutting edge. I have the freedom and trust to research and recommend new products that are beneficial to the future growth of the company and have them approved and installed.
