As the year comes to an end, I wanted to take the opportunity to comment on many of the important things that have happened over the past 12 months in the industry and provide some insight into what I believe the future will bring. This year has been a very exciting time for The Lifeline Program® and for Life Settlements as a whole. It has been amazing to watch interest in this unique financial option grow stronger and stronger each and every day. Agents and consumers alike have been contacting us in record numbers and we continue to break our own individual records in terms of transactions completed. This Fall's LISA Conference was the largest industry event ever held and major institutional funders such as hedge funds and international banks have started to put massive amounts of capital behind what we have known all along is a sound and smart investment strategy.

All of this means that 2006 has truly been a remarkable year and there is no reason to think that 2007 will not bring more of the same. However, I believe certain industry-wide trends will emerge and it is important to be aware of these and to prepare for them.

Based on recent allegations that have rocked the industry, it seems inevitable that transaction transparency will become a major priority in the coming months. Our clients want and deserve full disclosure and perhaps the time has come for us to increase our self-regulation efforts and comply with this relatively fundamental principle. Additionally, we are truly reaching a point in time when Life Settlements will be a household term, but we are not there yet. For that reason, education and promotional efforts are needed now more than ever. We will continue to work with top spokespeople and employ innovative strategies to promote Life Settlements and get the word out. We think you should do the same and with a little luck, 2007 will bring even greater prosperity to us all.

I wish you a happy and healthy holiday season.

The New York Times recently featured a front-page article on Life Settlements titled "Late in Life, Finding a Bonanza in Life Insurance". It includes a quote from our President and CEO, Scott Page and is a must read for everyone in the industry. While the article touches on concerns associated with speculator-initiated life insurance, or "spin-life" policies, and the measures some insurance carriers and regulators are taking against such policies, it does much to substantiate our belief that Life Settlements are a valuable and important option for many, many seniors.

As one of the first companies in the country to begin offering Life Settlements, The Lifeline Program® learned early on that the true key to succeeding in the industry was to effectively educate individuals about the benefits and nuances of these very unique financial transactions. For that reason we developed, and continue to offer, one of the most comprehensive Agent training programs in the industry.

Designed to help familiarize financial professionals with all aspects of Life Settlements and to provide them with effective strategies to close sales, our customized seminars and teleconferences are growing in popularity and available to interested agents. Led by some of the industry's top minds, we can teach you everything you need to know to successfully incorporate Life Settlements into your current product portfolio and how to make them a profitable and significant portion of your total revenue stream.

NAME Tana Hou
POSITION Office Manager

I joined The Lifeline Program over a year ago as the company's office manager after several years working with KBI, a property management company, and GSI, an office furniture distributor in Atlanta. My responsibilities at The Lifeline range from working with each department to make sure they run smoothly and have everything they need to arranging corporate travel and accommodations.

The Lifeline Program is really a unique place and it's refreshing to work for a company with such an amazing culture and compassionate leaders. Scott Page and Steve Terrell care about everyone in the company and treat us more like family members than employees. At other places I have worked, I barely knew the executives, at The Lifeline Program I feel very lucky to say that the guys at the top are truly colleagues and friends.
