As many of you already know, the Senior Market Advisor Expo is just around the corner, and once again, The Lifeline Program® will be exhibiting at the show. This exciting event takes place August 22-24, 2007, in Las Vegas, and will bring together hundreds of individuals involved in selling and marketing financial and insurance products to seniors. For several years, we have viewed SMAX as one of our most influential industry gatherings and therefore rely on the conference to not only learn about important trends, but also to promote the many benefits of Life Settlements from The Lifeline Program®.
We are currently finalizing our plans and gearing up for a great conference. Last year, we drew quite a crowd as we invited an authentic Las Vegas showgirl to spend some time with us on the exhibit hall floor. This year, we have something equally as memorable in store. Designed to provide you with some of the credits you need to maintain your licensure, this one-of-a-kind program will enable you to grow your knowledge and your business by learning from the best. While I am a recent addition to the Lifeline team, my nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services and insurance industry has been a significant asset in my position as the Director of Business Development. In this capacity I oversee account management, business processing procedure, new client acquisition, while working closely with our Funding, Compliance and Marketing departments to ensure effective execution of our business objectives. Several things attracted me to the Life Settlement industry and, in particular, to The Lifeline Program®. The rapid growth of this industry and its emergence as a valuable life insurance product, as well as the opportunity to be part of an expanding management team presented a great opportunity to me. In a time when certain segments of the financial planning industry have taken a downturn, it is promising to be working with a group that is continuing to grow, and where I can have an immediate contribution to the company's expansion and development.
